Class will be offered each month. Click here for more information.
Objective:
The Align Nonprofit Leadership Institute is designed to strengthen leadership and management skills for the current and future generations of nonprofit leaders. By offering a comprehensive curriculum to build skills in everything from day to day financial and personnel management to high level leadership, the program offers nonprofit staff and executives the skills they need to run a successful organization.
Why:
Nonprofit employees usually have a very strong passion for the mission of their organization. The Align Nonprofit Leadership Institute is designed to help nonprofits build on that passion by enhancing the business skills needed to run a successful organization.
How:
The Institute is designed around seven core topics that allow participants to pick and choose the areas which they want to develop or to complete all seven and earn a Certificate in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from Align. Each topic is offered in a day and a half format using the latest learning technologies.
The first full day is classroom style and includes highly interactive courses that allow participants to not only learn about, but also immediately put to work the new skills. At the end of the day the participants will be given assignments to take back and implement in their own organization. A month later participants will come back together electronically to discuss what they have learned and how the tools have been implemented in each organization. All you need to participate in the second day is access to a computer with a high-speed internet connection.
Who:
Everyone who is in a leadership role or desires to move into a leadership role in a nonprofit organization. The curriculum is designed to build upon the core knowledge of the participants and take you to the next level of leadership.
