Facilitator. Trainer. Good Citizen. All describe Mona equally. As a trainer and facilitator, she teaches seminars and works with employee groups, community nonprofit organizations, and volunteer groups in setting goals, creating programs and building structures for success. Mona also enjoys public speaking, especially when she has the chance to talk about gender communications and women in leadership. Besides all that, she is certified in organizational development and enjoys helping organizations achieve success.

 Our executive vice president and chief operating officer, Mona has been with the company for almost 20 years. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in communication studies at the University of Missouri at Kansas City, and Master of Science degree in management from Lesley College.

 With a passion for economic development in rural communities, Mona has served in leadership roles on the boards of so many community organizations that we quit counting (and we’re trying to teach her to say ‘no’!). She is a recipient of the ATHENA award, which recognizes those who provide business and community leadership and help women realize their full potential.
