Kathy Cathcart

Kathy loves to “map it out.” She can take a pile of colorful sticky notes and show how a process flows today AND, more importantly, can visualize and help others see how to make the process more effective and efficient. Forget the weeds, Kathy understands worm level detail at supervision, management, and executive level detail requirements. She is also an adept facilitator and trainer.
As Vice President at Align, she oversees the Contract Services and IT Departments. Prior to being named Vice President she managed the claims , quality assurance , and customer service departments. Before that she worked in banking operations, holding positions in proof, installment lending, and mortgage lending.
As you can see, Kathy loves to spend her time helping others get the work done, and has proven that time spent analyzing now can save countless hours and reduce errors in the future.
Born and raised in Cheyenne and settling just east in Carpenter, Kathy is passionate about the community she lives in - striving to “leave it better than she found it.” She is currently serving on the COMEA homeless shelter board as Secretary, and the Zonta Club of Cheyenne as president, and is a 2007 graduate of Leadership Cheyenne. In her spare time, Kathy helps wrangle the family-run summer-series rodeo. Considered the rodeo secretary by her family, she ensures that the cowboys and stock contractors get their paychecks.
Kathy holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Park University in Human Resource Management. The majority of her undergraduate work emphasized communications. She also holds a management certificate from Mountain States Employers Council in Denver, Colorado.
